Anyone heating water from a wood stove?

Not yet, but I intend to! For showering, etc, I will use a rocket stove with copper coil inside the exhaust stack to heat water from an elevated barrel. That will allow for auto circulation. Other water heating plans I have include solar heating of water for IBC cubes and steel drums in the winter green house. I intend to use a couple of glass patio doors over a block box with black painted copper pipes to help maintain the temp so the plants can produce year round. It I think that should be enough for a 10'x17' harbor freight garage converted to a green house.

Lamppa Kuuma stove has a sidecar like water tank attached with a spigot on the bottom. I use it for bathing, might use it for tea in a pinch. In the summer I could hook up a solar shower but I haven't.

Some wood stoves are made to run pipes through it, on top works good also depending on the style of the stove
